2023 - It’s Time to Come Together

2023 - It’s Time to Come Together

After so many years of fear and controversy we knew it was time to take a leap of faith and do an in person event. I was growing tired of being online and wanted to connect with people in person. When I first said to John that I was going to do a conference he said “That’s a bit ambitious” - With these words I hit the ground running. Knowing that it was time that Australia was on the map and starting to lead the industry.

First thing we needed to find was a location that was easily accessible, could provide the required technology and wasn’t going to charge a kidney to book. Most conference centers required a minimum of $10k deposit.
I knew this was going to be a tough slog but with negotiations and networking I settled on Best Western Attwood Conference Centre. As much as it was $20k to hire it offered an extra bonus that others didn’t - It was close to the airport for inter state and international attendees.

The second thing was to ask speakers to be involved. As I reached out I was gob smacked at how awesome speakers were and how ready they were to step up!

From here the list grew (it grew so fast we had 3 people in waiting and before the conference was finished we had speakers applying for 2024)

We had an amazing line up! All that was left was to have fun … and that is EXACTLY what we did!!

Day 1 began with food and welcome - hugs and connections with people we had only met online. We had exhibits, VR demonstrations, giveaways and fun.

Gelson took people through VR experiences from meditation to star wars sword fights. At one stage Gillian was the hero at saving the world from robots.

Taking a side step from formalities we decided to have dinner and entertainment on Saturday night and go with a Bogan dress up and games. It was lame and AWESOME! so much fun and never ending laughs.

Between ping pong ball games, speaker giveaways and people mingling it was an absolute hoot!

We also celebrated Conny’s 40th birthday.

Day 2 of the Australian Hypnosis Conference - 2024

Day 2 showcased amazing speakers and VR demonstrations.

Inviting people to jump into a VR world and how it can shift people instantly from fear to relaxation. We thank Annie Walker from Bathurst Hypnotherapy for demonstrating the fear side. It took alot of courage for her to show people in a genuine way how VR can be negative and then instaly flip up to a positive and relaxed mindset.

We also invited the audience to vote for speaker awards.

With Gillian Maddigan being the highlight and Justine Lette being the most informative as voted by the peers.

As we wrapped up the conference none of us wanted to leave so we went up to the restaurant and had one last horar before having to go home.

On the Monday we had post conference training. Another day of fun and levelling up our knowledge. About 15 of us stuck around to train (and as much as we did that we just had more fun and laughs to add to the bank).

We cannot that our amazing crew for helping out with this event. Without you it would not have run smoothly.

A great big shout out to:
